Sensational Elora is an annual 11-day event-filled festival featuring the music, art, drama, film, food, breathtaking scenery and heritage architecture for which Elora is renowned. In 2008, its inaugural year, Sensational Elora will be held from October 2nd to 13th.

This festival will showcase the many gifts that Elora has to offer:

• our beautiful scenery, heritage and intriguing history
• our talented artisans and creative artists
• our delightful music
• our delectable foods
• our warm, varied and hospitable community

Individuals, groups and organizations are invited to participate in Sensational Elora by creating and scheduling an event or activity under the aegis of Sensational Elora. Events must be compatible with the theme of the festival and organizers of each event must commit to a specific date and time and are responsible for obtaining their own venue, volunteers and event insurance.

The Steering Committee of this new not-for-profit organization (Sensational Elora) is comprised of a number of community members of various artistic, culinary and business backgrounds who are dedicated to promoting the entire Sensational Elora Festival.
